The XV International Women’s Worlds Congress 2026 has come to an end, but the journey we began together continues.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this gathering possible: the team, the academic committee, the logistics committee, the communications committee, the social mobilisation committee, the speakers, the workshop facilitators, the funding and partner organisations, the volunteers, and the participants. From the Basque Country and many other territories around the world, we wove together a space for dialogue, learning and connection, leaving us with an extraordinary network of knowledge, affection and commitment.
A new phase is now beginning: nurturing what we have sown so that it continues to grow. We are currently updating this website to keep the memory of the Congress alive. Very soon you will be able to browse the photo gallery and read the Manifesto, collectively drafted based on the eight thematic strands of the gathering: an invitation to imagine and build feminist, decolonial, diverse forms of peace rooted in the defence of life.
Over the coming months, this website will evolve into the MM26 Virtual Library, an open space where we will bring together presentations, papers, documentaries, educational materials and other resources shared during the congress and developed subsequently based on that knowledge. Our hope is that everything we experienced together will continue to circulate, inspire new encounters, strengthen alliances, and nurture the collective creation of other possible worlds.
If you presented any material during the Congress and would like it to be included in this library, you can send it to semillera@mm26.org. Together, we can build a living archive of shared memories, experiences and knowledge.
Thank you for continuing this journey together.
No wars that kill us, and no peaces that oppress us.
