The call for proposals for the 2026 Women’s Worlds Congress is launched to receive research, creative, and reflective proposals that contribute to rethinking peace from diverse, critical, and situated perspectives.
The invitation is open to individuals, groups, and organizations working in the defense of human rights, feminism, memory, territorialism, social justice, and everyday practices of peace.
This edition focuses on eight thematic areas that seek to broaden the global debate on peace:
- Demilitarization, de-securitization, and global disarmament
- Memories and guarantees of non-repetition of violence
- Migration, exile, and forced displacement
- Common goods
- Bodies–territories –peaces
- Sovereignty and autonomy
- Care and everyday peaces
- Feminist methodologies for peace
The organization notes that the call for proposals is an opportunity to build networks and continue expanding feminist frameworks for peace.
